Ceramica Cielo, Italian excellence in designer bathroom furnishings, has chosen its I Catini collection for the bathrooms of the Hotel Borsari, part of the new Quartier LôDzè in Martigny, Switzerland. A project that blends history, hospitality and contemporary style, in which Cielo’s refined and timeless design takes centre stage.
Born from the restoration of Martigny’s ancient 19th-century cellars, Quartier LôDzè is a new urban hub where past and present intertwine. Hotel Borsari, a member of Design Hotels, represents the hospitality heart of the project and serves as a “basecamp” for travellers and residents alike. The choice to include colourful bathroom furnishings – a contemporary reinterpretation by the architects of a 1970s memory – found Ceramica Cielo as the ideal partner. Thanks to the artisanal quality and rich colours of the I Catini collection, the hotel offers guests a unique experience, where even the bathroom becomes a place of design and identity.
Designed by Andrea Parisio and Giuseppe Pezzano, the I Catini collection is a true style icon. The bathrooms of the Hotel Borsari feature Catino Tondo washbasins and Ottavia freestanding bathtubs, crafted from Solid Surface and characterised by pure, essential lines that reinterpret the traditional baignoire in a contemporary way. Their presence, alongside the washbasins, helps to create open bathroom spaces that are integrated with the bedroom, designed as fluid places of well-being and relaxation. A continuous dialogue between intimacy and sharing, which perfectly reflects the hotel’s design philosophy, oriented towards a balance between historical memory and contemporary language.
Ceramica Cielo, with its ability to transform the bathroom into a space with identity and character, is now a point of reference for architects and interior designers. The balance between craftsmanship, aesthetic research and innovation makes its collections the perfect choice for hotel projects that want to stand out and leave their mark on the international hospitality scene.
